Yellow Grumichama Live Plant (Eugenia brasilensis var. leucocephala)
Grumichama Fruit/ Eugenia Brasiliensi is a tropical, compact tree and highly ornamental. It is a medium-sized tree endemic to southern Brazil which bears small fruits that are bright yellow in color and sweet, crunchy and juicy like most cherries with one cherry pit. It's a small size tree which makes it perfect to use in urban landscaping. The Grumichama cherry can be cultivated in other tropical and subtropical climates, including Florida and Hawaii. Grown primarily as a backyard ornamental fruit tree. The inner flesh of the fruit is white-yellowish in appearance, it's mostly used for fresh eating but can also be used in making jams, jellies, and pies.
