General Information:

A rare tree found in lowland rainforests in Venezuela, Colombia, Suriname, and neighboring Brazil.

Relative of the cherimoya and produces a spectacular fruit.

Fruiting tree reaching a height of 10 to 20 m and a diameter of 15 to 70 cm.

Globular fruits, about the size of an apple, with intensely pink skin protected by dark red scales.

Flesh is intensely yellow to red, sweet, with reported apricot flavors and Jackfruit undertones.
