Duguetia spixiana is a very rare annona relative from the South American rainforests. It is a small to medium-sized, evergreen tree with rounded, spiky fruits that are brown on the surface and a bright red, sweet flavored pulp. Seedgrown plant takes 3 to 5 year to set fruit.
