Talisia guianensis Live Plant

The native range of this species is Guianas to N. Brazil. It is a tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome. It is  a small shrub, usually unbranched, grows up to 2 to 4 meters tall. because of  small size this variety is suitable for container growing.
The tree is harvested from the wild for its edible fruit which is bigger than other local Talisia species. The 2 to 3 cm in length fruits have a very addictive. creamy sweet pulp.
