Suvarnarekha, also known as chinna-Suvarnarekha and Sundari in Northern India, is a variety that can be easily identified by the red tinge near the stalk with thick skin and a very sweet flesh. Fruit is medium, ovate-oblong. Base (top of the fruit)is slightly flattened and apex(bottom of the fruit)is round.
