Ross Sapote/ Pouteria S P is a rare evergreen tropical/subtropical fruit tree native to Central America, typically harvested in the fall but may have more than one season per year.

It produces huge, rounded fruit. It has a silky, smooth, creamy texture that is similar to pumpkin pudding, and it smells and tastes deliciously sweet like caramel. Ross Sapote fruit has a dependably creamy texture that is neither dry nor gritty.
