Red King Guava Fruit Plant (Psidium guajava)

The Red King Guava is a premium exotic guava variety originally from Thailand, known for its large fruits, attractive red-pink flesh, and delicious sweetness. The fruits feature light green to yellowish skin when ripe, revealing a vibrant pink to deep red interior. Each fruit generally weighs around 400–800 grams and can occasionally exceed 1 kg under optimal growing conditions.

The flesh is crisp, juicy, and sweet with a mild tangy flavour and subtle hints of pear and strawberry. It typically has a sweetness level of 10°-12° Brix, which can reach up to 13° under favourable conditions. Compared with many conventional white guava varieties, Red King Guava is often appreciated for its fewer and softer seeds.

Rich in vitamin C, dietary fibre, antioxidants, and lycopene, this variety is a nutritious and attractive addition to any fruit garden. The tree grows well in warm tropical climates with adequate sunlight, well-drained soil, regular watering, and proper care.
