Pepisangan is a rare and interesting fruit tree native to Thailand and Cambodia.The edible fruits from Annonaceae family are much esteemed locally, being commonly harvested from the wild and also sold in local markets The ripe fruit is eaten raw, it has a soft sweet flesh. Fruits are very interesting yellow clusters similar to their cousins the asimina pawpaws of the US.
