The Orri Mandarin is a popular, late-season hybrid citrus known for its exceptional sweetness, low acidity, juiciness, and distinctive fruity flavor, making it a premium "easy-peel" variety with few seeds, often available from January to May, and highly valued in international markets for extending the mandarin season. Developed in Israel from the 'Orah' mandarin (a 'Temple' tangor and 'Dancy' mandarin cross) through induced mutation, it's nicknamed the "Queen of Mandarins" for its excellent taste and texture, despite some inconsistencies in peelability.
