General Information: Plinia Coronata, commonly known as jaboticaba coroada (king jabuticaba), is a species of plant in the family Myrtaceae. Endemic to south-eastern Brazil, Tree grows to between 4 and 12 meters tall, Produces purple, edible fruit, which is between 25 and 30mm in diameter.

The Jaboticaba tree, native to São Paulo and Minas Gerais in Brazil, features an elongated and dense crown, reaching heights of 3-10 meters. As of December 2021, it boasts the largest known Jaboticaba fruit, with a glossy black appearance and a pronounced light-colored crown at the apex. Commonly producing fruits at 4 cm and taking 5 to 6 years to set fruits from seeds, this selection offers both aesthetic appeal and nutritional benefits found in the jabuticaba pulp. Plinia Coronata is a species endemic to south-eastern Brazil, growing between 4 and 12 meters tall, and producing edible purple fruits.
