Myrica sp. Roxo is a very ornamental and closely related plant genus to the Jaboticaba's, this unknown species was found growing wild in Brazil. It bears small, blue-violet colored fruits, with a thin skin and juicy flesh that reportedly has a very sweet flavor. Growth habit is shrubby, similar to the Jaboticaba, up to 6 ft / 2 m.
