Mistol is a Jujube relative thorny, semi-deciduous tree to 12-30 ft / 4-10 m. The tree bearing small, fleshy fruits, with sweetly flavored white pulp. The edible fruit is enjoyed within the plant's native range. The species is native from Argentina, through Brazil and Peru, where it is occasionally cultivated.
