Manilkara decrescens is a species of plant in the family Sapotaceae. It is endemic to Brazil, where it is threatened by habitat loss. It is an evergreen shrub or tree and grows primarly in the Wet Tropical biome(s) The tree is rarely harvested from the wild for its edible fruit and for medicinal applications. Fruits are normally eaten raw, the bright orange to red fruits are 25mm in diameter .It has a juicy, sweetish pulp.
