Botanical Name: Salacia Chinensis.

General Information: Lolly Berry is usually a climbing plant, but it can also be a scrambling shrub and occasionally takes on a more tree-like form. It can grow tall.

Fruit: The fruit of Salacia Chinensis is globose to ovate and red in color, It typically contains a single seed, The fruit's skin separates much like that of a lychee, revealing a fleshy, opaque aril inside., The aril is very sweet, non-fibrous, and has a taste similar to watermelon cotton candy.

Uses and Benefits:

The pulp surrounding the seed of Salacia Chinensis is edible.

The roots of this species have medicinal uses, including normalizing menstruation and invigorating circulation.

Planting and Care
