Eugenia ligustrina is a species in the genus Eugenia which contains between 1023 and 1154 species and belongs to the family of the Myrtaceae. It is a rare fast growing eugenia variety,with small fruits that is very delicious and easy to grow in a pot,it comes red to black when fully ripe. The trees reach heights of 2.5 to 3.5 metres.
