Garcinia gracilis little-known, small, evergreen, beautiful looking tree native to tropical Southeast Asia with simple, glossy green leaves and round, red, edible fruit. The edible fruits are gathered from the wild for edible and medicinal purpose. The fruits are smooth, obovoid, fleshy with 4-6 segments, each segment containing a seed. It has a sour ,sweet flavour. The plant is using as a pain reliever and hypoglycemic agent.
