Thunbergia mysorensis is also called Mysore trumpet vine/Indian clock vine, is a species of flowering plant in the family, Acanthaceae. A woody-stemmed evergreen, popular ornamental plant in tropical and sub-tropical Indian Gardens. The specific epithet mysorensis is derived from the city of Mysore. Other vernacular names include brick & butter vine, lady's slipper vine, and dolls' shoes due to the flower shape and large size. 

Often reaches 6 meters and has long narrow medium green leaves. The dramatic and very large pendent hanging blossoms have individual flowers in a bold curved shape. This is enhanced by their being a rich saturated yellow, with maroon to brownish red outer tip coloring. The vine blooms from spring to autumn. It grows quickly in frost-free temperate climates, with flowers draping down from pergolas. Its sweet nectar is attractive to sunbirds, a very small passerine bird, and hummingbirds.

MAXIMUM HEIGHT - It can reach more than 6 meters in height.

BLOOMING YEAR - Almost Year-round flowering, sometimes goes to dormancy in winter, it depends on the particular climatic condition of that area.

GROWING TIPS - It can grow almost in all types of soil and it can easily grow in any Indian Climatic condition.
