Jacaratia heptaphylla is a species of tree in the family Caricaceae. They are native to The Neotropics, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, and SãO Paulo. The edible fruit is sometimes gathered from the wild for local use. Fruits are normally eaten raw or cooked. It has a cream colour pulp with sweet, spicy, pleasant flavour.
