General Information: Rare persimmon species are found only around the southern tip of Baja California, Well-branched desert shrub. Produces small leaves and small, orangeish, edible fruits. Honey-like, very sweet pulp, Grows naturally in arid, sandy areas. Small, bushy growth to a few feet. Ideally suited for dry, warm temperate climates, Requires little water and attention once established and performs well even in coastal situations.
