An extraordinarily rare fruit from the jungles of Borneo. The fruits are large, weighing up to two pounds, and round, with brown skin. Pulp is white, very sweet, with tart overtones, and is delicious. The flavor is really hard to describe other than this. It is a delicious intoxicating fruit that would certainly have an audience and true potential as a commercial crop, but is still virtually unknown and apparently not cultivated anywhere. The trickle of fruits that make it to village markets in Borneo are all harvested in the wild. The vines would do extremely well with proper and large enough support trellises, fruiting seems to take place throughout the year and the plants are highly productive.
