Garcinia bahiensis Live Plant

This exceptionally rare Garcinia species was discovered near Itacaré in the Brazilian state of Bahia, along the Atlantic coast. With its unique green-skinned fruit and attractive growth habit, This species produces much larger fruits that have lots more pulp that is juicy and very sweet. Remarkably, the fruit remains green even when fully ripe – an unusual trait among Garcinia species.
