Small, pretty ornamental tree/shrub with layered growth
Native to Borneo, Java, the Marianas, New Guinea, Northern Territory, Philippines, Queensland, Vanuatu, and Western Australia.
Ripe fruit is red to orange; unripe fruit is green.
Resembles a finger, hence the name "finger sop."
The flavor is sweet and has been compared to sapodilla with a floral note.
