Cyrtocarpa edulis is a species of perennial sarcocaulescent tree commonly known as the Cimarrón plum or Cape wild-plum. It is a dry deciduous shrub or small tree rarely more than 5 m tall with grayish to reddish bark, small pinnate leaves and small, whitish flowers followed by meaty, yellow to orange fruits that are edible and sweet. Cyrtocarpa edulis is native to dry forests and riverine forests in Central and Western Mexico.
