Eugenia mosenii is a medium-sized tree with an elongated crown. The edible fruit is gathered from the wild and consumed locally. The fruits don't have much pulp but they taste similar to pitanga and grumixama. The tree is slow-growing, but its appearance is very ornamental, especially when it's bearing fruit.
