General Information: A fruit from an evergreen shrub or tree native to Southeast Asia.
The plant has pinnate leaves and clusters of small fruits that ripen from yellow to red and black. When ripe, the fruit is edible and sweet.
Edibility and Uses:
The seeds of Chamaliang/Lepisanthes Fruticosa are also edible, especially when roasted.
