General Information: An erect shrub, less than 1.5 meters tall, native to South America (Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil). It produces 4-7 cm glabrous yellow/orange berries with sweet, juicy, and scarce pulp. Fruits typically ripen from October to November in their native habitats.

Medicinal Uses: Bacupari is renowned for its medicinal purposes. The leaves are believed to contain potent nutrients for cancer healing. Additionally, it's used to treat skin disorders, urinary tract infections, and hormonal imbalances. The fruit is recommended for detoxification and immune system support.
