General Information:
Native to the humid rainforests of Borneo. One of the sweetest varieties of Baccaurea fruit. Fruits are borne in clusters on stems, resembling longans.
The edible fruit is gathered from the wild for local use and sometimes sold in local markets.
Fruits can be eaten raw, featuring bright orange-colored flesh that is very sweet and juicy.

High nutritive and medicinal value.
Fruit pulp is a good source of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and minerals.
Relatively low amounts of fats, organic acids, phenolics, and antioxidants compared to many other familiar fruits.
