Annona Cacans Live Plant

This remarkable fruit tree is native to the Atlantic and semi-deciduous forests of Brazil, occurring naturally from Minas Gerais to Rio Grande do Sul. It is considered one of the largest members of the Annonaceae family, with mature trees typically reaching 5–15 meters in height, while exceptional specimens can grow even taller in favorable conditions.

The tree develops a straight, slender trunk covered with grayish, cork-like bark that naturally peels away in long, narrow strips. Its elegant canopy forms a distinctive cup-shaped crown, while attractive yellowish-cream veins highlight the elongated green leaves.

The fruits contain a rich, cream-colored gelatinous pulp known for its excellent flavor and pleasant texture. Once separated from the seeds and skin, the pulp can be enjoyed fresh or processed into a variety of delicious products, including juices, smoothies, ice creams, desserts, cakes, cookies, and yogurt-based preparations
